Personality: C'lir is a down-to-earth man with a pragmatic outlook on life. He is an optimist and isn't likely to let small things get him down. He is very determined and can be stubborn.
C'lir doesn't like to show vulnerability, and he can sometimes seem tough, but he is really a nice guy. He is a kind person and cares about others. He isn't good at showing affection but that doesn't mean he doesn't feel it. He has a special soft spot for his daughter, Liania. C'lir also cares a lot about the Weyrwoman, although he is honestly scared of her at some times.
With his weyrlings, he is strict, but he knows not to push them too hard. He makes sure they know who is boss, but he tries to give them some freedom too. He is very loyal to the Weyr. C'lir wants to find out who is turning the dragons back and make sure they never do anything to harm Hadi.

History: C'lir was born in a Hold near Hadi Weyr. When he was 14, he was Searched and taken to the Weyr as a candidate. At his first Hatching, he Impressed to silver Capivth. He was a well behaved weyrling and a good worker, and was taken into a Wing when he graduated. A few turns later, he was made a Wingsecond.
The second time Panitath rose, Capivth caught her. C'lir became Weyrleader, and he also sired a daughter. He enjoyed being a leader and he also liked being the Weyrwoman's mate...well, sometimes. She could be a difficult woman to deal with. To this day he still says that Liania was the best thing he got from becoming Weyrleader.
When T'ryn's Onyx flew Panitath, he was demoted from the Weyrleader position, but offered the Weyrlingmaster position, which he happily took.
