Personality: Holent has heard the story of how he was born, over and over again, and everytime, he finds more and more things to improve on, just to make his mother's life easier. He is a prefectionest, and a caring individual, but it is that prefectionest that tends to drive some away from him, while drawing his mother in. He can be sweet, but ask any nurse-maids that had the "honor" of tending to the Weyrwoman's brat, that wouldn't be the case. Holent, thought intelligent, is a bit twisted in his reasoning, thus he is only sweet when he thinks it is best. Number one person that he is sweet too; Lilia. After that . . . . it's hardly anyone, unless he is putting on a show for his mother.
Great looks, slightly bad personality, Holent is still a charismatic young man. He believes that he is "a gift" to the females, thus he may be more vain than charismatic. Take it how you will. However, he is a very loyal young man. Which means he doesn't have the issues his mother has about settling down with one person and enjoying the rest of his life, even though he is still rather young. This loyaliness could also be viewed as him being driven, seeing as he is very driven to Impress, train, learn, and settle down. His main goals out of life.

History: Holent wasn't born out of the best terms. His mother, Lilia, almost didn't keep him, as he reminded her of her caretaker/foster-father way too much. Yet, when she looked into his dark hazel orbs, she was unable to give him away, or kill him; so Holent's been told. After that, his memory skips on ahead, to when he was slightly older, living with two Riders, and his mother. Since then, he has been called Lent, and answers more to that, then Holent.
After his grandmother passed, of which Holent remembers little of, Holent turned to his mother for the female role, which his grandmother had been filling. He almost didn't find it from Lilia, but again, the young mother was unable to give up on him. He actually saw little of his mother during the day, as she spent much of her time at Candidate Lessons, leaving him with his grandfather, J'lyr. Then came the exciting news that Lilia had Impressed Violet Panitath, something Holent didn't yet understand.
Shortly afterward, his mother passed her weyrling lessons, soon becoming Senior Weyrwoman. Holent knew that his time with his mother was limited, thus he turned to his own lessons, under J'lyr, as the Silverrider seemed to love teaching his grandson. A coupld oe turns later, Panitath Rose, and J'lyr explained that whoever caught her, that would mean the dragon's Rider would become Senior Weyrleader and would earn the rights to mate with his mother. C'lir of Silver Capivth was the Senior Weyrleader once more and nine months later, a little screaming baby girl was introduced to Holent as his half-sister, Liania.
This process was repeated several turns later, as Panitath rose once more, only this time Onyx Mnelth caught her. Holent remembers this Flight well, as he had been standing on the ground, watching the Flight, while also watching his half-brother, Kaylan, who had been born to Lilia and T'lyn, Onyx Mnelth's Rider, a few turns beforehand. Of course, as if fated by the boy's birth, Mnelth caught Panitath, thus making T'lyn the new Senior Weyrleader.
He really wasn't to fond of Onyxrider T'lyn, yet he didn't have to stomach him too much, cause by the time he came into the picture, Holent was already in the candidate barracks, ready to Stand and Impress. Of course, he hung around, to make sure his mother was treated right, but when he heard the news that Lilia was sending the Onyxrider away to the mountains, Holent couldn't tell anyone that he was sorry for the Rider. Now, he looks forward to his day at Standing as one of his mother's dragon's clutches.

Also, I was wondering if I could just change him to heterosexual. I kind of don't see the point of making him bisexual if he prefers females so much anyway. But if you're adamant about keeping him bisexual, I'm okay with it.))
