High Ranking Dragons

Violets

- Violets are the highest ranking female dragon, but a bit larger than a Onyx. Thinner and leaner than Silvers, Violets tend to have long agile necks, large thin wings, and slim bodies. 'Snakes of the skies,' would be a good term for them. They are not allowed to chew firestone.
- Violetriders have the potential to be Senior or Junior Weyrwoman.
- Range in color from deep maroon to light lavender.
- Clutch 20 to 40 eggs and are normally Flown by high ranking males.
- Impress only heterosexual females between the ages of 16 & 20
- Possible text colors (just examples)= 660066, 330033, 990066

Onyxs

- The highest ranking males, Onyxs tend to be the more aggressive and bulkier dragons. Normally fly after lower ranking females and possibly a Violet. Muscular and big, Onyxs are built like rocks, but have the stamina to keep up with them due to massive wings and lungs. Normally, Onyx's tend to Impress slightly older, reclusive males.
- It is possible that Onyxriders can be Weyrleader or lower.
- Range from jet black, to a light shade of gray
- Eggs fathered by Onyxs will be high and low ranking colors.
- Impress heterosexual males between the ages of 18 & 22

Middle Ranking Dragons

Silvers

- Silvers can be as big as Onyxs, or as small as Topazs and Jades. Agile and smarter than Topazs and Jades, Silvers and their Riders tend to be Weyrling Masters when they are older.
- Some are Wingseconds and possible Weyrleader if fast enough
- Range from dark shades of metallic gray to light silver
- Father small clutches with more Crimsons, Topazs, and Jades
- Impress hetero- or homosexual males between the age of 16 & 19
- Possible text color = 999999, CCCCCC

Crimsons

- Crimsons are strictly female dragons. The same size of a Silver, they are slim like Violets, but have the muscle build of a Onyx, but lack the stamina of either. They and Theirs are normally hot-tempered and take a strong-willed Rider to control them in a fit of rage or anger.
- No Crimsonrider will be higher than a Wingsecond. These dragons have a fiery temper, as do their Rider, and normally quick to anger.
- Range from blood crimson to various shades of light red
- Rise but don't clutch
- Impress hetero- or homosexual females between the ages of 16 & 19
- Possible text colors= CC0000, CC0033, FF3366

Low Ranking Dragons

Topazs

- Topazs tend to be about the same size of a Jade. Tend to be Impressed by out-going Candidates that seem to scream 'I want adventure and a full life.' They make great Searchdragons and Theirs make a good Candidate Master.
- None higher than their class
- Range from dark teal to grayish, milky blue
- Males fly after Jades and Crimsons and father very small clutches
- Impress the any one between the age of 14 & 20
- Possible text colors= 669999, 336666, 006666

Jades

- Tending to be the smaller of the three females, Jades are slim and sleek. They make good Searchdragons and Theirs make good Candidate Masters, or Assistant Candidate Masters.
- None above their rank
- Range from dark green to light green
- Rises but doesn't clutch
- Impress any one between the age of 14 & 20
- Possible text colors= 006600, 009966, 33FF00
